What can be returned, how long you have, how refunds are issued and what happens with made-to-measure and wholesale orders. Last updated: 10 August 2026.
Unworn stock garments may be returned within 14 days of delivery for a full refund, or within 30 days for an exchange or credit note. Items must be unwashed and unaltered with all labels and hang-tags attached, in their original packaging. Statutory cancellation rights under [Jurisdiction] consumer law apply in addition to this policy and are never reduced by it.
Email hello@aethele.online with your order number, the style name and the reason for return. We issue a return authorisation and address within 2 working days. Returns sent without an authorisation number cannot be matched to an order and may be refused.
These exclusions do not apply where an item is faulty, misdescribed or not fit for purpose.
If a garment arrives with a manufacturing defect or is not what you ordered, tell us within 14 days of delivery with photographs. We repair, replace or refund at your election for faults reported inside the 12-month workmanship warranty, and we cover return shipping in these cases.
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 working days of the return arriving and passing inspection. Your bank may take a further 3 to 5 working days to post the funds. Original outbound shipping is refunded on faulty items and on full order cancellations made under statutory cancellation rights; otherwise return shipping is the customer's responsibility.
Size exchanges on stock garments are free once per order within the 30-day window, subject to availability. Where an exchange is not available we offer a credit note valid for 12 months. Complimentary first alterations — sleeve and hem length — are available on tailoring bought directly from the studio within 60 days of purchase.
Wholesale orders are produced to order and are not returnable for change of mind. Shortages and quality claims must be raised within 10 working days of receipt against the packing list. Approved wholesale claims are settled by credit against the next order or by refund where no further order is planned.
Stock orders can be cancelled at no charge before dispatch. Made-to-measure orders can be cancelled without charge before cutting begins; after cutting, the deposit covers materials and labour already committed. Commission work follows the notice terms set out in our Terms of Service.
